Don't Blame Yourself

When things go poorly, we may often find ourselves attaching blame to ourselves, and we start a list of ways we failed. We think of how we caused the problem. We think of where we went wrong. Having this mindset will not only upset us, discourage us, it also can keep us from performing common functions.

We must remember that we are not always the reasons things malfunction. We sometimes do not consider other factors that played an important role. We must understand that some things we can take full control of, but many things are out of our control.

We must keep a positive mindset throughout the day - no matter what goes wrong. Take some time to relax, think about how we can benefit from these things gone wrong. Don't attach blame to yourself. Remember, it makes more sense to deal with outcomes of the event than fault.

Stay tuned for next week's blog post.
